Hillrockabilly announced to welcome the year right at the beginning with new energetic songs. So the first single 2021 “Stand like a Rock and let it roll” was released right at the beginning of the year. Now the billlies follow up with an energetic rock & roll answer to lazy bones. An interesting phenomenon we could already notice in the editorial office during the first listening. Each of our colleagues had shown a spreading smile on their faces with the first hearing. We wondered if it was even possible to tell from the facial expression whether he or she had recently heard the new song. Try it, dear reader, and let us know: Have we or have we not found the cure for bad moods? You decide.

Wild rock n’ roll on the new Hillrockabilly recording

Reaching further into the classic roots of rockabilly, Hillrockabilly presents “A Hell Of A Life” on their new single. It is rhythmically probably the fastest number of the group and it goes straight to your mental good mood center. A statement of lust for life and against resignation – that’s the message of the song. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Nevertheless, it is quite applicable in case of need, because joy of life is known to be quiet a good thing for your immune system. The song is pure lust for life in rock’n’roll rhythm.

A new experience for Hillrockabilly streaming customers

The streaming service Spotify has started an interesting experiment. So-called Canvas Animations offer the listener the possibility to watch small animations in addition to the song they are listening to. As far as we know, this function is only available to customers with the mobile app, which can be downloaded free of charge from the corresponding portals at Apple and Google. Hillrockabilly has decided to support this experiment and provides a Spotify-Canvas-Animation for every song.
