Gone Country – Music
The new Hillrockabilly single release this month is not just a very personal way to interpret Country Music, it is also another page of the wide palette of Hillrockabilly’s artistic versatility.
When the funky elements of a hard driven bass line hit the low bassy kicks of a new country style drumset you’ll get in the right mood to listen to this story of a hard decision to make.
We all agree that musicians on the road are one type of modern saddle tramps, so the storys they experience are full of the stuff that make a good country song. This one is real personal. The rest has to be told in the new song:”I’m right, you’re wrong, but you win and I’m gone”. This is a long title and it could not have been shortened. The song will tell, you why.

This is the perhaps loudest production of Hillrockabillity ever, without losing the focus on the true natural Hillrockabilly sound we love. A clever frequency management of the instruments and voices used make it possible to realize a satisfying sound pressure in this class of it’s own. Rhythmically you’ll find another story told. A story, explained just by music. From the funky beginning, walking over a bass bumping bridge, we come to a hymnal chorus and end up eventually in a mop-top-style dramatic final.
Country Music is and has always been part of the Hillrockabilly signature. This new song in it’s independent arrangement, storytelling and rhythmically infectious is different. Hillrockabilly hasn’t have a country song like this before.
The story about how Country and Hillrockabilly friends will like this tune will be told at April 24. 2021, when the new single ”I’m right, you’re wrong, but you win and I’m gone” is to be released. It has to be told by the people, music lovers and fans.
